Privacy policy
prestApps collects as little as technically possible. The apps collect nothing at all, and this site runs no analytics and no advertising trackers. Here is exactly what happens to your data.
Last updated: August 5, 2026The short version
- The apps collect nothing. Eyemesh and Pagira run entirely on your device. Your 3D files, your documents and your browsing never leave your Mac, iPhone or iPad.
- No account, ever. There is nothing to sign up for, so there is no profile to build.
- No analytics, no ads, no trackers. This site has no Google Analytics, no advertising pixel and no third-party tracking cookie. That is why you never see a consent banner here.
- Nothing is ever sold or shared for marketing purposes, to anyone, under any circumstances.
Who is responsible for your data
The data controller, as defined by article 4(7) of the GDPR, is:
Jimmy DE BRUYNE (EI), sole trader, 29 rue Tronchet, 75008 Paris, France. SIRET 511 656 415 00052.
Contact for any privacy question: contact@prestapps.com. Given the size of the business, no data protection officer is required, and none has been appointed. Full company details are in the legal notice.
Data processed by the apps
None. Eyemesh and Pagira contain no analytics SDK, no crash reporter and no telemetry of any kind. They open no network connection to us, and there is no prestApps server for them to talk to.
Files you open stay in the sandbox macOS or iOS grants the app. Preferences, favourites and reading lists are stored locally on the device, and in your own iCloud account when you have iCloud sync switched on for the app. In that case the data is held by Apple under your Apple Account and remains inaccessible to us.
For app-specific details, see the Eyemesh privacy policy and the Pagira privacy policy.
Data processed by this website
Browsing prestapps.com involves three technical processing operations, and nothing else.
Language cookie
A single PHP session cookie (PHPSESSID) remembers the language you are reading the site in, so you are not redirected again on every page. It contains no identifier that could be linked to you personally, and it is deleted when you close your browser. Because it is strictly necessary for a service you explicitly asked for, it is exempt from consent under article 82 of the French Data Protection Act, which is why this site shows no cookie banner.
Server logs
Like every web server, our host records each request: IP address, date and time, page requested, browser and operating system. These logs exist to keep the site running and to detect attacks. They are not used to build any profile, they are never cross-referenced with anything, and they are held by the host for a limited period before automatic deletion.
Style and icon CDN
The site loads its stylesheet and icon font from the public jsDelivr CDN. Doing so means your IP address and browser identification are transmitted to that provider, which is technically unavoidable for any external resource. jsDelivr sets no cookie and runs no tracking. If you would rather avoid this entirely, a content blocker will stop the request; the site remains readable, only the styling degrades.
When you write to us
There is no contact form on this site, and the site itself never sends a message. Every address you see is a plain mailto: link: clicking it opens your own mail app, and your message goes from your mailbox to ours without passing through this website. Nothing about you is collected here.
Once a message reaches us, we process your email address, its content and any attachment or screenshot you chose to send, for one purpose only: answering you. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in providing support for our products, under article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR.
Please do not send us personal data you do not want us to hold. To diagnose a bug we almost never need more than a description and the app version. Support emails are kept for up to three years after the last exchange, then deleted.
Purchases through the App Store
Apple is the merchant of record for every Eyemesh and Pagira purchase. We never see your name, your address or your payment details, at any point.
What we do receive from App Store Connect is aggregated, anonymous sales and download statistics by country and by day, which identify no individual. If you leave a public review on the App Store, we see it as anyone else does, with the nickname you chose to display. Apple's own handling of your data is governed by the Apple Privacy Policy.
Summary of processing
| Purpose | Data | Legal basis | Retention |
|---|---|---|---|
| Remembering your language | Session cookie, no identifier | Strictly necessary (consent exempt) | End of browser session |
| Site security and operation | IP address, date, URL, browser | Legitimate interest | Limited period, then deleted by the host |
| Answering support emails | Email address, message content | Legitimate interest | 3 years after the last exchange |
| Understanding sales volume | Aggregated statistics from Apple | Legitimate interest | No personal data involved |
Recipients and international transfers
Your data is not sold, rented or shared for marketing purposes. It is only handled by the technical providers strictly needed to run the site:
- OVH SAS (Roubaix, France) hosts the site. Data stays within the European Union.
- jsDelivr serves the stylesheet and icon font, which involves transmitting your IP address, potentially outside the European Union.
- Apple Distribution International Ltd (Ireland) handles all purchases and the App Store account, under its own privacy policy.
Where a transfer outside the European Union takes place, it is covered by the guarantees provided for in chapter V of the GDPR, in particular the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access your data, to have it rectified or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive it in a portable format. As no account exists and the apps collect nothing, in practice these rights concern only the support emails you may have sent us.
To exercise them, write to contact@prestapps.com. We reply within one month at the latest. We may ask for a reasonable way to confirm you are the person concerned, purely to avoid disclosing someone else's messages.
If you believe your rights have not been respected, you may lodge a complaint with the French supervisory authority: CNIL, 3 place de Fontenoy, TSA 80715, 75334 Paris Cedex 07, cnil.fr. If you live in another EU country, you may contact your own national authority instead.
Profiling and automated decisions
There is none. No profiling, no scoring, no automated decision producing legal effects, and no advertising segmentation, on the site or in the apps.
Security
The whole site is served over HTTPS. No personal database is kept: there is no account system, no form storing anything, and no newsletter. The less we hold, the less can ever be exposed, which is the point.
Children
The apps are aimed at a general audience and collect no data, so they present no specific risk to minors. Purchases are made through Apple, which applies its own age rules and parental controls.
Changes to this policy
This policy may change when the site or the apps change. The date at the top always reflects the version in force. Any substantial change will be announced on this page.
